Bobby was a hooded rat who we adopted from Bryson’s around about Summer 2001. His owner no longer wanted him but he was very tame and friendly; obviously he had been well loved. Bobby terrified the living daylights out of our GSD cross, Molly, without ever intentionally doing anything to upset her! Having Bobby was quite like having another, tiny little dog – he would sit up and beg for treats and was always really pleased to see us when we walked into the room. Bobby also aged visibly, just like a dog would; he looked like a furry little old man when he grew older. Sadly one night after two years together, he began wheezing for breath and then started to fit. Bobby died on the way to the vets and left a man-sized hole in our lives where once there was a little rat.
