vinceDear all at Brysons,

we thought you might like an update on the lovely labrador Vince that we got from you in February 2006. Vince is a wonderful dog, full of character and fun who has made us very happy. When we got him from you we decided to do some training with him and so we joined the Northumberland Canine Centre. Vince successfully completed his bronze, silver and gold Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme awards. We then thought that it would be good to continue doing some work with him so we took him to a beginners agility day and both he and I loved it! Vince has been doing agility now for 3 years and really loves it (and seeing his pals every week at class). His favourite bits are the A-Frame and the jumps. We have done a few competitions and have won a few rosettes which we are really proud of. Vince did not manage to get a rosette at the competition where he sniffed out a deer mid run and decided to take off chasing it! Even the judge giggled! Vince’s biggest loves are swimming, hill walking, chasing deer and hares , his tennis balls and lots of cuddles. He was a bit scrawny when we got him and so it has been lovely to see him mature into a handsome dog. He has a fabulous coat and is a healthy 27 kg and is a very handsome looking labrador and he has the peronality to match. I have enclosed a couple of photographs. One of Vince in his favourite field where he walks most mornings and the other of him at the top of a hill in the lakes. As you can see he loves his hill walking (or running in his case!) and hols in the lakes and highlands of Scotland. Our holiday photos mostly consist of pictures of Vince sitting proud at the top of various hills. He always sits at the top with his chest puffed out looking proud viewing the land below.

Anyway I hope this has given you a bit of info about Vince and his life with us. He really is a fantastic dog and we are really grateful to you for giving us such a special pup.

Wishing you all the best

Mhairi & Ben
