Bryson’s cat cuddlers may remember Tuppence as the very friendly tortoiseshell who could give a sudden nip. She had been at the Shelter for six months, but when I took her home at the beginning of May, she settled in remarkably quickly.
Our favourite time is waking up in the morning when she likes to stretch out on the bed making happy prrr-prrr noises.
And from the photo, you can see that she is also keen to supervise my attempts at gardening, or at least to get me to keep the path clear for her.
I’d like to encourage people to consider taking a cat that isn’t an obvious choice. Tuppence was labelled ‘grumpy’, but she is about 1% moody and 99% a joy.
