It’s been four years now since I was adopted by my new family!
I am really enjoying it here, with my mum, dad and Harry.
I love going for walks every day with my daddy, as soon as he picks up my lead I jump up with excitement, and I begin shouting out how thrilled I am to go for a wonder around the local area! Whenever we go through the park, I always have a swim with the ducks, though I don’t think my family enjoy that, as they have to give me a bath when we get home….. I hate baths!!
Whenever I have spare energy, I play tug-of-war with my family, using my rope toy. When I win it, I shake it around with joy, though I sometimes move it so fast that I trick myself into thinking it’s alive and I jump away in shock! A also have a toy fox which I chew on when I am relaxing – he used to squeak, though I pulled them out soon after buying it!
Although I pretend to be a tough dog, by barking at the postman/the trees moving in the wind/anything on the telly, I’m really a big softy inside! Whenever someone is in the chair or in bed, I’ll always go and sit with them in order to get myself a nice tummy rub!
When I’m not doing these things, I usually disappear upstairs and have a quick snooze on the bed – I really should stop sleeping during the day, as then I might get some sleep during the night when i’m not tired!
My family would also like to know what I get up to when they’re all out during the day, but we’ll keep that secret for another day!
I hope everyone is okay back at Brysons, and good luck to all of the animals trying to get new homes!
