Making monetary donations

Its costs over £250,000 each year to provide the level of care all animals should expect. We are funded entirely from the generosity of people like you, so donations (no matter how small) are greatly appreciated.

Making a donation is easy.

If you want to make a one-off donation just send us a cheque or postal order (made payable to NCHPS). If you wish you can also include a note donate.jpgsaying who you are.

If you want to make regular donations then simply download a form form, complete it and send it to us.

For any donation, if you are a UK tax paying citizen then you can help further by Gift Aiding your donation. This allows us to claim back tax from the Government but with no cost to you. Simply tick the appropriate box in the gift aid form gift aid form and we will do the rest.

Or even better, come into the Refuge and make a donation in person - we'd be more than pleased to see you!

Leaving a legacy

Leaving a legacy is perhaps the greatest gift you can give to us. In the past, legacies have funded the creation of new stables, kennels and provided play runs for our terminally ill cats.

legacy.jpgA legacy, or bequest, is when you pledge to leave us a gift in your will. Once you have provided for the people you love, you might consider lending long term support to us. You can either gift all or part of the value of your estate, gift a particular sum of money or gift a particular item - for example, property, jewellery etc. Contact us for further details.

And of course once you have decided to leave a gift to us, make sure to discuss how to do this with your solicitor.

Donating other things

We are always grateful for donations of things other than money. The best donations are those that we can use directly such as feed, bedding and toys for our animals. cat food.jpgTake a look at the list of items below which shows the type of thing we use most often.
